If you are interested in raising money for Nelson’s Journey then we would love to hear from you. In the past we have been contacted by groups who want to raise money for us and are looking for suggestions. Here are a few ideas for you…
Challenge events: tandem skydive, UK three peaks challenge, abseil, marathon, London to Paris bike ride and Home2Rome banger rally.
Sponsored Events: walk, fancy dress day, silence, healthy eating day (good idea for chocoholics!), bike ride, head shave, swim, no smoking, no alcoholic drinking and pancake flipping.
Events where people pay to take part: treasure hunt, golf day, dinner dance, karaoke evening, race night, tombola, football tournament and cricket match.
Other money raising ideas: auction of promises, bring a pound to work day, coffee morning, jumble sale, cake sale, theme days/nights and village fete.
