The therapeutic residential weekends bring
together bereaved children from Norfolk
for an enjoyable weekend which includes
outdoor activities and challenges. By meeting others, the
children and young people realise they are
not alone in their experience.
On camp the children are able to
express
their
thoughts, feelings and ask questions in a safe and supported
environment. The weekends also provide the children with
opportunities to remember the person who has died through a variety of
activities which include drama, art
and crafts.
A special
candlelight ceremony is held where everyone
attending camp, adults and children alike, light a candle for the
person they have come to remember.
